Banded Piglet Squid
The average size of adult H. pfefferi is about 100 mm in mantle length (ML). They have small tentacles above their eyes and Their body is almost totally clear revealing a dark mass that is the internal organs and barely visible, feather-like gills. There are two small finst at the opposite end of the body from the head.

Home : This cutie can usually be found floating around 320ft or deeper below the ocean’s surface all across the world.
Food : There is still a lot of mystery surrounding our little friend and researchers have not yet concluded what the little guy feeds on.
Fun Fact : Unlike most other squid, “piglet” is believed to swim upside-down!
