<b>Ata </b>is the skeletal remains of a <b>6-inch (150 mm)</b> human found in a deserted town in the Atacama Desert, Chile in 2003. Ata has since found its way into a private collection in Spain. It was found by Oscar Muñoz near an abandoned church in a ghost town called<b> La Noria,</b> 56 km to the interior of Iquique in northern Chile. Muñoz later sold it to a local pub owner for 30,000 pesos (approximately 60 USD), who then sold it to a Spanish businessman, Ramón Navia-Osorio, who is the current owner It was hailed as proof of alien life, a mummified visitor from another planet. Ten years after the remains of a six-inch ‘<b>space alien</b>’ were <b>first discovered</b>, they have been <b>confirmed as ‘human’</b> by Stanford scientists in a new documentary film <b>Sirius</b>. Since the remains of the small humanoid - known as the '<b>Atacama Humanoid</b>' and nicknamed <b>Ata</b> - were discovered in Chile's Atacama Desert 10 years ago there has been much speculation about its origins. Theories have included that the bones were those of an aborted fetus, or a monkey, or even an alien that had crash-landed on earth.  Although initially thought to be older, the remains have been dated to the last few decades, and contained high quality DNA for scientific analysis. Ata has an irregularly shaped skull and is missing two ribs. Ata may have also suffered from Oxycephaly. There are several hypotheses about what Ata is. Anatomist and paleoanthropologist William Jungers has suggested that it is a premature human fetus, considering the frontal suture was very open, and because the hands and feet were not fully ossified. An alternative hypothesis, by immunologist Garry Nolan is that Ata had progeria and thus died prematurely. Nolan's more speculative suggestion is that Ata suffered from a very severe form of dwarfism, but no genes for dwarfism have been found during his team's genetic analysis. Professor of Medicine, Ralph Lachman said that dwarfism cannot account for all the features found in Ata. During the DNA analysis by Nolan, the B2 haplotype group was found. Combined with the alleles from the mitochondrial DNA, it suggested that Ata is indigenous to the west of South America. While it has been claimed that Ata is an alien, by ufologists, the genetic material is consistent with a human.<br />

<b>IS IT A HOAX? </b><br />

Dr Steven Greer, who led the project and documentary, has hit back at critics who claim the body is a hoax. 'The CAT scan clearly shows internal chest organs -lungs and what appear to be the remains of a heart structure,' he said. '<i><b>There is absolutely no doubt that the specimen is an actual organism and that it is not a hoax of any kind</b></i>. 'This fact has been confirmed by Dr. Nolan and Dr. Lachman at Stanford. In the weeks leading up to Monday’s premier of Sirius, UFO enthusiasts had grown increasingly excited that the film could announce a major breakthrough in the search for extra-terrestrial life forms. Experts say the small skeleton certainly bears many of the hallmarks of what we have come to believe aliens look like, in particular a large head overshadowing a small body. According to Chilean local newspaper, a man called Oscar Munoz found the remain on Oct. 19, 2003 when he was looking for objects of historical value in La Noria, a ghost town in the Atacama Desert.  Near an abandoned church, Munoz found a white cloth containing, according to the newspaper, ‘a strange skeleton no bigger than 15cm [the size of a pen].  It was a creature with hard teeth, a bulging head with an additional odd bulge on top. Its body was scaly and of dark color. Unlike humans, it had nine ribs. 'After six months of research by leading scientists at Stanford University, the Atacama Humanoid remains a profound mystery,' said physician and Disclosure Project founder Dr. Steven Greer. 'We traveled to Barcelona Spain in late September 2012 to obtain detailed X Rays, CAT scans and take genetic samples for testing at Stanford University.  'We obtained excellent DNA material by surgically dissecting the distal ends of two right anterior ribs on the humanoid. 'These clearly contained bone marrow material, as was seen on the dissecting microscope that was brought in for the procedure, 'In the new documentary, a DNA sample from bone marrow extracted from the specimen was analyzed by scientists at a prestigious American university.  <br />

They concluded that it was an '<b>interesting mutation' of a male human that had survived post-birth for between six and eight years. </b>‘I can say with absolute certainty that it is not a monkey. 'It calls into question how big the thing might have been when it was born.' ‘The DNA tells the story and we have the computational technique that allows us to determine, in very short order, whether, in fact, this is human,’ Nolan, who performed the DNA tests, explains in the film. In addition to studying the origins of <b>Ata</b>, Sirius explores the subject of UFO and ET visitation, the disclosure of secret UFO files, and the investigation of advanced energy and propulsion technologies extra-terrestrial civilizations are using to travel to Earth. Based on evidence gathered over the past 20 years by physician and Disclosure Project founder Dr. Steven Greer, Sirius reveals how and why these energy technologies are being suppressed in favor of maintaining the current petrochemical system.  Sirius premiered in Los Angeles on Earth Day and will be released online and in select theaters worldwide, starting April 22. Ancient Cave City Discovered in Nepal 155ft off the Ground

<b>One of the world’s greatest archeological mysteries has been discovered deep within the Himalayas in Nepal.</b>
  Thousands of man-made caves have been found dug into a cliff so large 
that it dwarfs the Grand Canyon.  The caves were either dug directly 
into the hillside or tunneled from above and who made them and why

Richards reflects about being asked to join in on the project in the former Kingdom of Mustang in North, Central Nepal.  “He started telling me about this place where we were going. The words he was using conjured these images of a place I couldn't really imagine. Quite honestly when I got there it was even bigger and more grand than anything I ever could ever have imagined. We're talking about somewhere that reminds us of the Grand Canyon, the desert south west but then has this incredible history to it. You see these caves carved into the rock and now they're completely inaccessible. As we started getting deeper into it, I started to see the magic of what we were approaching, the culture in practice, <b>a 12th century village underneath the caves they used to live in, caves that are now forgotten</b>. We started asking questions about how did people get into them?” Unfortunately, accessing the caves proved to be very dangerous.  While on assignment, Richards lost his footing, fell and broke his back.  He states “One of the things I think we forget when we're talking about adventure, science and exploration is it gets dangerous at times one of the reasons its so exciting is because there are consequences and big consequences.”<br />
<br />
Misfortune stuck again when Richards returned a year later with his friend Lincoln Else to film. A rock fell from above, hitting Lincoln in the head and fractured his skull.  While his friend made a full recovery, Richards reiterates the dangers associated with exploration projects like this.  “Again it was a point of realization that yes what you are doing is very important but it's also very dangerous and when you talk about adventure there are sides to it that are unpleasant.”<br />

Trekking through the Himalayas might be an exhilarating adventure, though what emotions and thoughts might just plague your body if you stumble across 200 human skeletal remains? A British guard made this discovery in 1942.  Being in the middle of World War II, you may probably imagine the fear the British government had upon this discovery.  It was thought that these people were Japanese soldiers sneaking their way through the valley.  On examination, it was determined that these remains were far too old. <br />

<b><span style="font-size: small;">The lake of Roopkund</span>, India is situated in a valley surrounded by mountainous peaks 16,000 feet above sea level.</b>  Despite the beautiful mountain side views and sparkling water, something frightening happened here.  What could have happened to these people? Some had hypothesized ritual sacrifice, illness, avalanche and even a landslide.  It wasn’t until 2004 that the deaths were determined as a simple hailstorm.<br />

<b>All 200 bodies that were found in and around this lake were carbon dated back to approximately 850 A.D.</b>  The scientist performing the tests had also found that there were <b>two distinct groups of people</b>.  One group was a taller statured tribe or closely related family members as the other group was determined as a smaller group of locals that more than likely have been hired as guides.  Along with these bodies, there were items such as leather shoes, bamboo staves and spears scattered throughout the area. The experiment was conducted on six dying patients who were placed on specially made Fairbanks weight scales just prior to their deaths. Out of the six subjects, Five were men and one was woman. <b>After measuring the first subject weight, an unusual result came out. “Suddenly, coincident with death,” wrote Macdougall, “the beam end dropped with an audible stroke hitting against the lower limiting bar and remaining there with no rebound. The loss was ascertained to be three-fourths of an ounce.”</b></blockquote>
After the second result, Dr MacFougall felt again the same thing. This was extraordinary to get this result.  <br />

A quote from the 11 March 1907 New york Times article captures the historic moment :<br />

<b>“ The instant life ceased the opposite scale pan fell with a suddenness that was astonishing – as if something had been suddenly lifted from the body.  Immediately all the usual deductions were made for physical loss of weight, and it was discovered that there was still a full ounce of weight unaccounted for”.</b></blockquote>
All the five doctors took their results. Not all the patients lost the same weight but they did lose something. Only four out of six patients were experimented due to mechanical failures.<br />
<br />
A <b>shocking result was observed in the third patient</b>, who maintained his same weight immediately after his death. But after one minute, he lost about an ounce of weight.  Dr. MacDougall explained this as follows : <br />

<b>“ I believe that in this case, that of a phlegmatic man slow of thought and action, that the soul remained suspended in the body after death, during the minute that elapsed before its freedom.  There is no other way of accounting for it, and it is what might be expected to happen in a man of the subject’s temperament”.</b></blockquote>
By consulting with the other attending physicians, it was determined that the average weight loss was 3/4 of an ounce of each person. Dr. MacDougall concluded that a human soul weighed <b>21 grams</b>.<br />

He also experimented the same on 15 dogs but the same result didn't come up. They showed no change after their death. MacDougall concluded that this may signify only humans have souls.<br />

Dr. MacDougall admitted that more research needed to be done and he was passed away in 1920.<br />

<span style="font-size: small;">Archeologists have unearthed a <b>cone shaped skull </b>looks like of alien from <b>1,000 years ago</b> in Mexico. The find was made near the Mexican village of Onavas.<br /><br />Cristina Garcia Moreno, who worked on the project with Arizona State University, explained that <b>13 of the 25 skulls found in the Hispanic cemetery had these deformed heads</b>.<br /><br />“We don’t know why this population specifically deformed their heads,” Moreno told ABC News.<br /><br />The burial ground consists of 25 individuals; 13 have intentional cranial deformation and five also have dental mutilation.<br /><br />The site, known as<b> El Cementerio</b>, was discovered in 1999, but the team just completed their analysis of the skeletal remains last month. They plan to continue their research during the next field season. Archaeologists also discovered artifacts on the site, like pendants, nose rings and jewelry.</span><br />

On 7 August 2012, an image purportedly depicting the face of Jesus appeared on a tree stump in the cemetery.It is isn't clear whether the face is a natural formation of whether someone has tampered with the stump, but either way the spectacle has been drawing quite a lot of attention.</span></div>

 man who prosecuted Calderon was Fray Juan de Zumarraga (his statue is

Spain. For reasons unknown he gave Calderon a light sentence, 
prohibiting him from saying mass for two years and exiling him back to

 priest Pedro Ruiz Calderon was put on the trial in Mexico City for 
practicing black magic. The priest actually bragged about the powers he 
had acquired according to the records a researcher is working on

Records of the trial that took place in the year  1540 have revealed the
 startling nature of the case. Rather than attempting to plead his 
innocence like most people would, <span style="color: #0b5394;"><b>Calderon instead boasted about the remarkable 'superpowers' which he claimed to have. </b></span>These
 powers  included turning invisible, predicting the future, teleporting 
over large distances, turning base metals in to gold and the summoning 
of demons. He even claimed that he had journeyed into hell itself in 
order to obtain many of his abilities.</span> <span style="font-size: small;"><br />

Surprisingly, despite prosecutor Fray Juan de Zumarraga's notorious use 
of extreme punishments, Calderon received only an exile back to the 
Spain and a two-year ban from giving Catholic services.</span><span style="font-size: small;"><br />

invisible and can travel across great distances in a short amount of 
time. "It's just fascinating. The story just goes on and on," Chuchiak

 notes that Calderon loved to brag. After the trial was over, he caught 
pneumonia, was sent to the infirmary, and while there, "he was bragging 
about his ability to cloak himself and to win over almost any woman that
